Who you work with#
We would work with system operators and monitoring staff at ground radar stations who watch border airspace maps for unusual movements.
The situation#
Ground monitoring stations receive continuous streams of coordinate data (latitude and longitude strings) from radar equipment. Operators use software dashboards to map out these positions visually and spot incoming threats early.
What is going wrong#
Current monitoring setups face two critical problems. First, enemy electronic warfare can send fake coordinate data (GPS Spoofing) to the radar screen, showing fake aircraft that do not exist. Second, modern drones fly in curves and zig-zag lines to escape, but traditional tracking software assumes they only fly in straight lines, causing operators to...
Why it is not fixed yet#
Existing industrial air defense platforms (like the macro-level IACCS framework) are built for heavy server infrastructure and focus heavily on straight-line, long-range heavy aircraft. They require heavy computing hardware and often do not isolate edge-spoofing vectors at the ingestion source level. Furthermore, deep-learning models require expensive graphics processing units (GPUs) that are not available at rural field stations.
